“While I have not been a guest at the Hotel itself, I do want to take the time to thank the staff for their great hospitality and service. I was on my way through Limone sul Garda and took a break at the Hotel/Restaurant. A few years ago, I had been there with my late parents and I wanted to honor their memory by having a breakfast there (as we did back then, we „parked“ my Dad for breakfast there, while my Mom and me went shopping). Unfortunately (but understandibly) you do not offer breakfast for non hotel guests anymore. But this didn‘t keep the very nice waitress from offering me a seat, serving me a coffee, cookies and a Croissant. Additionally, the nice lady at the reception checked out something for me regarding the closure of a road. This really is the best kind of service someone can get, and I wasn‘t even a Hotel guest! In the end, they even refused to bill me for the Croissant and I only had to pay for the coffee and my Cola. (I hope I have been able to compensate this with the tip I left). Thank you so much for this short experience. It really means a lot to me, especially as this place brought back the memories of my last vacation with my late parents, with my Dad spending several hours enjoying your wonderful hospitality back then. I hope to be back in the future and then as a guest of your hotel. Obviously, I couldn‘t really rate your rooms, as I have never seen one, but I will still give it 5 stars, as I expect this kind of exceptional service to be consistent within the rest of the hotel.”
“It's difficult to find a good note for this hotel or describe it in just a few words. Especially if you're visiting right at the beginning of the season. The good part about the hotel: It's clean, it's partly renovated, it offers a decent breakfast and the staff is very nice. The maids are doing a wonderful job maintaining the rooms, we got fresh towels on a daily basis. And it has a huge parking. The bad part: running water. Guys, you are sitting 50m atop the largest italian lake. And I can't rinse in the shower because all of a sudden the water just stopped running?? As long as the hotel was full, the availability of running water was always an issue during "peak" hours. I hope you'll fix this, because it was really annoying.”
“Limone sul Garda looks like a postcard that somehow stayed real. Mountains dropping straight into the lake, light dancing on the water, everything just a little too perfect. Right in the middle of that sits Hotel Sogno del Benaco. This isn’t about luxury. It’s about place. The rooms are simple, but they do what they need to do. Clean, comfortable, with balconies that open up to views you don’t get tired of. You wake up, step outside, and the lake does the talking. Then there’s the rooftop. A jacuzzi, mountains all around you, the lake stretching out below. That’s the moment you remember. That’s why you’re here. The staff elevate everything. Genuinely kind, attentive without being overbearing. There was a Polish woman, Monika I think, who handled things with ease and warmth, the kind of presence that makes a stay feel personal. And a detail that matters more than it should here, private parking. In a place like Limone, that’s a real advantage. Now, Limone itself. Beautiful, yes. But the soul feels… diluted. It leans heavily toward Germanic tourism. Clean, efficient, slightly too polished. You don’t always get that raw Italian energy you might expect. But maybe that’s the trade-off. Because the scenery delivers. Every time. Hotel Sogno del Benaco doesn’t try to be more than it is. Simple hotel. Great people. Exceptional setting. And honestly, that’s enough.”
